Year 4 Residential - High Ashurst 8th / 9th October 2018
2.00pm - We have arrived!
After a great coach journey and a short ride on a mini bus, we have arrived at High Ashurst. First, we all had lunch before going to our cabins where the adventure started!
The first challenge was making beds which for some was very interesting! The duvet covers were particularly challenging.
The activities have started with 3 groups taking part on a challenge course and learning woodland skills. The other three groups have team games and climbing. These four activities will form the program of our two days here.
7.00pm - Dinner and Evening Activities
The children enjoyed a dinner with a choice of pasta, meatballs, macaroni cheese and jacket potatoes followed by a lovely sticky toffee pudding. All fed and watered and now time for an evening of games.
PHOTOGRAPHS - due to the limited signal, it is not possible to put photos up on this blog, whilst we are away. We have taken quite a few and will put them up on the website, when we return to school.
10.00am - Day 2
All of the children had a good night sleep, some more than others! A hearty full English breakfast with danish pastries, fruit and toast has given us the energy we need for our adventures today.
This morning the groups will do the activities that they did not do yesterday.
Lunch will be at 1.00pm and we leave at about 2.00pm.
